South Africa: KRÜGERRAND

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Golden Krügerrand (1967-2017), in 2017 the South African Mint presented the first 1 oz Krügerrand silver coin. Initially, they were sold as a collector's anniversary commemoration, but due to the successful sale, the first silver coins packed in a tube arrived the following year. The tube contains 25 coins. The coins are very well minted, and the identical motif as on the gold coin certainly contributed to the recognition of Krügerrand investment silver coins in the world. Due to the legendary motif, the coin should not be missing in the collection of a true numismatist.
